Vision Statement

The Episcopal Church of St. Peter by-the-Lake is a Church rooted in the Episcopal tradition and committed to the following:

• Expressing our love and respect for God and our fellow human beings through worship, prayer, study and service; seeking to be faithful both to the Great Commission* and the Great Commandment of Christ.*"

• Submitting ourselves to the doctrine, discipline and worship of Christ as expressed by the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Western North Carolina.

• Interpreting our faith through the lens of scripture, tradition, and reason.

• Welcoming all of God's children.
